who else is still on XP - and I mean a LOT of XP

Two years ago, when I first started my current position, I had to choose between working for a company I know nothing about, even though they are big in the oil & gas industry, (but had 150+ computers that they were migrating from XP to Windows 7/IE9) and a huge, national athletic store chain that was still using XP/IE6 with no plans to move to any other to OS (because of legacy applications and systems) and they were offering more money.

I took the lesser pay and with with innovation, because I can't see being stuck in mud when it comes to technology, even though I understand the thing with software and systems that don't work with newer OS's...

I just can't see still having XP running on hundreds of machines in 2020. Sounds like there should be some forceful foward thinking, in terms of tomrrow's technology.
