From the sound of all these postings, there is a LOT of "labor" pains (sorry, couldn't help the pun!) about the change over from XP to Win 7. We have 90+ workstations here, with only about 8 workstations being the Win 7 platform; the rest are XP, x86, with Office 2007. My major accomplishment for 2012 was getting rid of ALL installations of Vista and Office 2003. We are a non-profit, so I get a lot of donated machines/rebuilds and sometimes I feel, as the one-(wo)man shop, I am holding together the network with spit-n-bailing wire!
Although, I finally got a new HP Proliant server, to be our new DC, with Windows 2012 OS; which will be rolled out next month (I am a bit scared how the newest/latest/greatest will work with the rest of the antiquities I have around here!).
